do the Non profit farming on your income tax's, I do and it sure did help last year. Lord knows I'm not making any profit, by the time I feed, water and the electricity I use on them, I make nothing. With the non profit farming you get to write off all of these things, anything you spent on them you get to write off.

I have never heard of it. I am going to tell dh about it so that he can mention it to our tax preparer. Even a little helps.

Do you have to have a certain amount of animals? How does this work and what qualifications do you have to have.?

you can go to the irs homepage and look it up. I don't remember seeing a certin amount.
