Hey there. I am finally able to get back on my computer whenever I want after having our baby girl. I had complications before she was born and so my dh worked from home on the computer, so I didn't have too much computer access. He was going to go back to work right away, but it was an extremely rough delivery and had to stay home to help me out. Now, 3 weeks later, I am still recovering, but I am able to do things myself without help, so dh went back to work. And, we have a beautiful baby girl (Marlee) to show for all of the trouble. I know they say that newborns can't be spoiled, but this baby definitely is. She insists on being held every minute that she is awake. And, she is definitely a momma's baby. Dh says that she doesn't like him because she cries everytime that he holds her. That will all change soon and she will be a Daddy's girl and have him wrapped around her little finger just like our 5 year old little girl.

I am so glad you and Marlee made it thru ok, sorry there were complications.
She may just be crying when he holds her because she is momma's girl right now and you are right, it will change later. Most little girls tend to cling to daddy as they get older.
I was always trying to get my daddys attention, I know that is why I became a tomboy, I wanted to be able to do everything my brothers could do so my daddy would be as proud of me as he was his sons.
Glad to have you back, I know you are glad to have your computer back, I am sure you missed it.

Daddy and baby have been doing better the past few days. Before, everytime that I would go out to feed the animals, she would scream the entire time I was gone. I would come in and he would hand her off immediately complaining (and very clearly upset) that he didn't understand why she wouldn't let him hold her without her screaming. Well, he found that Marlee loves to have her legs rubbed and stretched. So, that is what he has been doing whenever he has her. I think that she likes him now ;D.
