My only frizzle rooster (one of my oldest roosters) died yesterday . I had hatched him from one of Lydia's eggs. He had scooted out of the coop door Friday evening when I was feeding them. I tried for about an hour to catch the little thing, but he was using the tractor to keep away from me (running back and forth and up and over). I finally had to go because I could hear the baby crying all the way from the house and I knew that my husband probably couldn't take any more of it (she is very colicy). Well, yesterday morning when I went to see if I could catch him again, I couldn't find him. I finally found him, drowned in the watering tank . I guess he flew up to get some water and fell in. He was such a beautiful rooster. We will miss him.
We did have some happy news, while we were on vacation, one of the silkies hatched out three babies. One is a wyandotte mix, the other is a beautiful blue silkies (one of Atti's grandbabies), and a little frizzle mix (yep, breezy's). It doesn't have frizzled feathers, but looks like a cochin and there were only two roosters in that coop (hens are silkies, one wyandotte, and CB the polish and rooster are buff silkie and Breezy).

Oh I hate to hear that, it always hurts to loose one. I know its hard for you when you have a new baby to care for and to try to take care of your house, the other kids and the animals also.
