Been out in the pens today putting extra shavings in the coops, making sure all the lights and heating pads are working.
The wind is blowing out of the north today and is suppose to go down to 19 tonight but I am in a valley and it is always about three degrees cooler here than in downtown.
I am so glad my husband built me all the boxes with the coffee pot warmers in them to keep my water from freezing. I don't like the cold.

I agree with you Lydia--I don't like the cold either!!!Tomorrow morning will be colder than this morning but can't be for long being in Texas. Getting hatching fever so whenever there are any xtra eggs give me a holler.

Me either!! BRRRR! I'd take our heat and mosquitoes anyday. It isn't expected to get above 60 here for the next two weeks. I am ready for some warmer weather.

The weather men were wrong!!! It is suppose to get into the mid 70's today! YAY! But, it is going to start raining again tomorrow. Then, it is expected to be cold and wet for Mardi Gras .
